Hi! I'm Amara, an experienced tutor passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals. I have several years of experience supporting pupils with their school subjects. Having achieved all 8s and 9s at GCSEs and recently completing my A-levels (with predicted A*AA in Bio, History and Sociology), I know the importance of effective study techniques, utilising notes, flashcards and videos as well as adapting lessons to each student's learning style. I strive to make lessons engaging, supportive and confidence-building, helping students develop both their knowledge and their independence as learners. Having completed public exams quite recently, I have a deeper understanding of what the examiner is looking for, updated specifications, and the most efficient ways of answering questions.
