My career expands across several roles including being an audio engineer, music producer, associate lecturer and TEFL Educator with a working history of interpersonal customer service, target driven goals and higher-level education. My work has seen me collaborate with clients from various genres including pop, indie, rap, R&B, drum and bass, classical, jazz and more. This experience has allowed me to work with individuals from a wide variety of cultural and social backgrounds, which aligns with my devoted belief of equal opportunities for all as agents and audiences within the creative industry. My work in the music industry so far has amassed several million views across multiple platforms with releases being showcased on various music platforms with both independent artists and major labels such as Universal, Sony, Warner Brothers and YMU Group. Additionally, my freelance work in the has led me to work in studios such as Abbey Road, Crescent Records, and Spirit whilst being an in-house assistant studio engineer with JBJ Studios on Portobello Road. Additionally, I have a BA Honours Degree (1:1) in Music & Sound Production alongside an MA Postgraduate Degree (Distinction) in Popular Music Practice – Production. During my time on both degrees, I was also a Student Ambassador, whilst additionally acting as President of a Society for Mature Students, Student Representative, Peer Assisted Learner and working on projects for the University. This combination of professional and academic experience opened the pathway for my career in Higher Education as a Lecturer, first starting my experience as a Teaching Assistant and Personal Mentor; it has been extremely rewarding to use my experiences to aid in helping the next generations of talent master their crafts and discover their creative identities. This has led to BIMM funding my PGCert to form a fully-fledged career as an educator in Higher Education. Furthermore, I have a passion to deliver a brief to its full potential whilst challenging myself creatively and logically. My communication skills allow me to effectively work as part of a team whilst having the intuition to work independently. My commitment and attention to detail enable me to ensure any task assigned to me is created to the best of my ability. Consequently, my drive and desire to improve myself leads me to continued development of my skills, qualities and knowledge with the determination to develop these further in future opportunities.
