Calm and patient tutor with an ability to make things ‘click’. Interactive, student-guided teaching style with short but detailed content overview on student-requested subjects. Followed up by practice questions, as well as homework questions which will be talked through in the lessons if there are questions that the student particularly struggled with. Lessons will be tailored to a students individual needs and learning styles. I am Motivated by progress and improvement. Achievements: Currently reading Mathematics at the University of Glasgow. Achieved 40 points in the IB Diploma, a top 10% global result. Achieved a Grade 6 in HL IB Maths AA, and a Grade 7 in HL IB Chemistry. Achieved a high Grade 9 in GCSE Maths in Year 10. Achieved 10 GCSEs with an average grade of 7.9. Achieved the top grade (A) in the Level 3 Free Standing Maths Qualification. Achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Chemistry. Achieved very good results in the UKMT Maths Challenges in years 7,10,11, and 12. Achieved Silver in the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge and Bronze in the 2025 Chemistry Olympiad. Experience: Coached Year 7 students in Maths for 5 months whilst in Year 11. Work Experience as a Teaching Assistant at a local primary school in Year 10. Volunteered in a SEND college for a year whilst in year 13.
